I also have a YouTube channel in which I love to use as a way to connect with all of you, my loves!
Singing was definitely off the table (although that doesn’t stop me from singing in the car, in the shower, and in public). So, I decided to try my hand at acting. Since then I have worked in seven films, a few being Center Stage: On Pointe, A Cowgirl’s Story, and Next Level. Around this time, the Teen Choice Awards added a new category to their award show: Choice Dancer. I was incredibly honored to be the first winner in this category and I still refuse to let my family try to surf on the surfboard award. I also decided that I wanted to write a book… because that’s normal and totally attainable (I’m rolling my eyes at myself). Well, I was fortunate enough to have my dream come true. I wrote my book, Girl on Pointe: Chloe’s Guide to Taking on the World, in 2017 and it was published through Bloomsbury Publishing Company.
After I left the show, I wanted to continue to work in the entertainment industry but was lost in which direction I wanted to go (isn’t that what the teen years are for, though? Figuring out who you are and all that fun stuff?).
I was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 25, 2001 at 8:03 pm (TMI?). Yep, your girl is a Gemini (and proud of it, as Gemini’s normally are). My mom, or Christi as I call her, and my dad, Marc, were young and scared out of their mind- I was a surprise! I began taking dance classes at age 2 (we’re hardcore in this fam), and I began competing at the age of 4. Fast forward to age 8 when I found out I was going to be a big sister. Enter Clara Lukasiak, my lil’ sis and best friend. Shortly after, my mom and I started filming Dance Moms and our lives were irrevocably changed.
Where to start? Well, hello! My name is Chloe Lukasiak and you most likely know me from that one reality show, Dance Moms (resist judgement, I took no part in the drama). I was an original cast member for 4 seasons until I decided to leave the show and begin a different path. But let’s go back to the very beginning.
So, yeah- that’s me! I’m just trying to balance school, my career, family, friends, maybe some dating, and beginning to live life on my own in Los Angeles. I am so scared but so excited and I can’t wait to share my journey full of ups and downs with all of you.
OH! I have a book club, Chloe’s Book Club, which you can check out here. I love reading and I’ve made it my personal mission to get more people reading again.
